There are state health and mental health agencies. Contact your state or county health department and ask. They should be able to give you names of clinics and Doctors that provide these services at least on a sliding scale for your income. Good luck!

Here is a list of hotline numbers, I’m sorry I can’t be more specific as to who you should contact, but these are from the US department of health, and should be available across the US. Maybe one of them can hook you up with a local agency for help.

Good luck, there is help out there.

You can check the phone book for the government agency MHMR. It is the mental health mental retardation agency. You can find out what kind of services the government has in your area. You can go to some local hospitals if you feel you are in an emergency situation.

In some areas there are support groups. Some churches have counseling services.

That’s all I can think of, I hope you find some help.

WOW ChoofMonster for a teachers aid you are very? uneducated when it comes to addiction. Absolutly millions upon millions of people have been able to gain control of their lives through the 12 step programs that are out there.

Addiction Education today is much more then applying the 12 step programs. I don’t know where you studied these supposed classes but I can tell you as a current student at Mc Master University’s school for addiction care that you don’t have a clue.
