My husbands mother was once addicted to several types of drugs…sleep aids and muscle relaxers. and some others, not sure all. she was a different person then the person we know and love.
We tried and tried to help her. she went through rehab a few times. she was finally becoming her normal self again. happy and aware of things. not always asleep. e lived in GA and she lives in WV…I would talk to her on the phone and I could tell she was doing very well!

well i believe the number one consequence of teens being on drugs and getting high is DEATH. That is certainly a problem if you plan on actually living past your second decade. Drug abuse kills plain and simple. Even if it doesn’t kill you right away, it kills your brain cells, your plans for a happy life, your relationship with other people, since drugs are your best friend, how do you think you are going to relate to real people?

My brother has a BIG problem with drugs, my mother and i have cleaned out all of the drugs from his room today and when he gets home he’s gonna freak, i no that just by taking the drugs away isn’t going to do anything but we are also a very poor family, i was wondering where i could look (like a website) for free or cheaply state run clinics/ facilities
