does ne1 know what the age is when u dont have to go to your non custodial parents house everyother weekend?

when you are 18 – however, if you are 14 or over, you can petition the court to be emancipated, which means your non-custodial parent will no longer be your legal parent. It means that your custodial parent will no longer receive child support, and you may no longer get health care benefits.

If there is abuse, neglect, drugs, or other things at the non custodial parent, you can call friend of the court, get a guardian ad lidem free of charge (an attorney who will work on your behalf) and try to change visitation – but if it’s just because you don’t like your other parent, it won’t fly.
