One of my good friends just finally found her brother on the streets. He is in bad shape and she won’t stop until he has hope again. I’m trying to help her find an affordable and successful Drug Rehabilitation Center possibly 1.5-2 hours away from Dallas. (Doesn’t have to be that specific, but its ideal).

Well, the drug war has made us less safe. While addiction and use of certain drugs such as methamphetamine and crack do hurt us as a society, putting people in jail for harming themselves also harms society. We take people who have never committed violent offenses in their lives and lock them uo with crazy people, then let them out several years later and expect them to perform better in society. It makes no sense. If you’re worried about drugs decreasing your safety, you should help people do something about the way we’re currently handling them.
